"I bind to myself today God's Power to guide me" - St Patrick

“Even misfortune has its advantages say the wise. Of course the wise say stupid things, because even wisdom has its foolishness, say I.”
Angélica Gorodischer, Kalpa Imperial: The Greatest Empire That Never Was

I’ve been trying to work on meditating most mornings, specifically focusing on setting intentions for the day to give me some grounding for the day. I’ve only been doing it for a few days now, but I’m hoping to get through this spring slump I’m feeling emotionally.

Some stuff I’ve loved online

Chilly ATC - Blend listening to Air Traffic Control with chillwave music

The Return of the Obra Dinn - Lucas Pope 2018

I’m going to post a short video review of this on my youtube channel, but I really liked this game. It took some growing on me because the decision for "1-bit" monochromatic graphical style I really struggled with at first. The art is all very well done, so I don’t think it was a decision to save time/effort from the one-man team, but a specific choice for a graphical homage to older games.

Once I got past that, I really enjoyed this game. You basically are reconstructing a disaster at sea, and piecing clues for what happened to all the people on the ship. Its a good puzzle game with lots of visual and audio clues helping you solve the mystery. The sound design, and music especially, are all wonderful.
