“It's only because of their stupidity that they're able to be so sure of themselves.”
― Franz Kafka, The Trial
Here we go again! My sending schedule is all over the place because I’m still finding the rhythms and rhymes and the whatnots.
I made some huge improvements in my workshop in the last few weeks and I hope to have a video up soon about it.
I’m also spending a lot of time in CAD trying to plan a workshop layout, and design future projects. I’m trying both Fusion360, and SketchUp and having issues with both and its been a little discouraging, but I think I can take the lessons learned and just roll on.

We’re doing another batch of mini-reviews from
Familiar Touch - I’ve seen several films over the last few years showing how we deal with aging, and this is another great one in that theme. Kathleen Chalfant plays such a moving role here.
A Little Prayer - David Strathairn is a man unto himself, and his presence here is a powerful thing. A movie about a decent man who is realizing he did not raise good kids, there’s a lot of quiet power in a lot of the scenes here.
Eephus - Ostensibly about the final baseball game a group of old men get to play together, I was surprised how moved I was. Again, a theme of aging comes in to play, and the sense that time is moving on by and today is a day future you will be nostalgic for.
